Nøkken A dynamic and brilliant demo with thick atmosphere. Great musicianship ! To add, I had the opportunity to listen to this album multiple times while travelling through the Swiss mountains and I must say it just feels right.

L. Possibly, Tardigrada is incomprehensibly still one of the most underrated atmospheric BM bands after two masterpieces of the genre like the wonderful LP debut "Emotionale Ödnis" or this unique demo from a far 2012.
In this case, Tardigrada performs a effort more oppressive and even cosmic and psychedelic than its successor. An entheogen that twist your mind of lifetime and existentialism reflections that will make you feel miserable.

H.L. As I am addicted to TARDIGRADA'S latest output "Emotionale Ödnis" I also purchased this earlier EP. And I am glad that I did, as the melancholic atmosphere and the depressive vocals are quite the same. Only the obscure sound is more underground and less clear and powerful as on the current masterpiece. Anyway, these guys are real masters of epic black majesty! Favorite track: Hoffnungslos.

ėṣɓĵ extremely impressive debut. really dig this record. the only complaint I have is how ridiculously high the vocals are left in the mix. it's a tad bothersome/confusing. but besides that, the songwriting is incredibly good.

Saffron Robe A wee gem of an EP. The perfect accompaniment to full moon rituals.

ProgHog231 Demo album from Fallen Empire's bandcamp page. Four songs of atmospheric black metal. Not sure if there is much that is new here, but there are some solid musical ideas. Favorite track: Widrstand.

Melodic, almost pagan black metal out of Iceland with some of the most aggressive vocals I've heard in the genre. It's balls to the walls from the first note with few respites, but its melodic enough to not overstay its welcome. Jeff Wilson

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
